Preparation and Planning

Digital Student Book Pages
The Student Book pages for all Sound Waves Units and iMaths Topics are supplied for use with digital projectors and electronic whiteboards. Project these pages in your classroom as you guide students through the activities in their student books.
Black Line Masters
These downloadable classroom resources are supplied for each program and year level, freeing up teacher’s time to spend focussed on the learning outcomes of their students. Our search functionality allows you to search for BLMs according to concepts, activity types or BLM code, to easily find what you are looking for from the hundreds of supplied BLMs.
Student Access Codes
Registering for one of the teaching programs provides you with Student Access Codes for your class. These codes allow your students to log in to the Firefly TLC student area, for access to Learning Objects, Black Line Masters and student weblinks relevant to your programs.
iMaths Investigations
Maths investigations have never been easier. Simply click on the Investigation you wish to conduct and you’ll find all the relevant information you need to complete it - Investigation overview, associated maths Topics, weblinks, Data pages, Tear-outs and Black Line Masters.
Sound Waves List Words
The List Words for each Sound Waves unit are provided for easy digital projection or use with electronic whiteboards. With just a simple click, List Words can be automatically loaded into an interactive word strip, for segmenting and blending activities.
iMaths Topics
You can view all maths Topics in the iMaths Student Books together, or view them in the context of whichever Investigation you are conducting. The choice is yours!
Sound Waves Learning Objects
Interactive learning objects make learning fun, and the Firefly TLC provides an increasing selection of learning objects and games that can be used to consolidate the concepts being taught. Learning Objects include Match Up games for each Sound Waves unit, as well as interactive word strips, with more to come in the future.
iMaths Weblinks
Web research is an intrinsic part of many iMaths Investigations, and we have supplied links to websites that can help you with the specific information required to complete an Investigation. All weblinks undergo an ongoing checking process to ensure they are appropriate for student use and are able to be accessed through school firewalls. Weblinks are provided for both teacher and student
